The Top 5 gathers favorite post, post that you have enjoyed viewing several times. It also shows off some of the writing that is done on each post, especially the Free Write: Bug’s-Eye View.  That was quite fun to write about and read together. Enjoy!

5. What can we discover from new places and people?

As you can imagine, that questions is BIG, large in scope, and we will likely get lost somewhere out there in that globe we call Earth. How Fun!

4. Ecosystems: Where have all the sharks gone?

Tagging along with the National Geographic Explorers and deep sea divers, we will explore “one of the most pristine places on Earth,” a place where a delicate ecosystem is not as unspoiled as it may seem.

3. The Son of Man. 1964. Oil on canvas. Rene Magritte

“Everything we see hides another thing, we always want to see what is hidden by what we see. There is an interest in that which is hidden and which the visible does not show us. This interest can take the form of a quite intense feeling, a sort of conflict, one might say, between the visible that is hidden and the visible that is present.” – Rene Magritte

2. Say Goodbye to Summer

“I remember summer days of running like the wind, and flying like a kite, and hopping like a frog after swimming like a fish.” – Leila Devlin

1. Free Write: Bug’s-Eye View

Perspective is a big word we learn in order to understand a point of view, situation, or a topic we are interested in. The word ‘perspective’ makes me think of bugs and small creatures, parks, lakes, grass, trees, and the big world around us.

What did you enjoy the most from each post? What do you believe made each post memorable?

what are there predators, and what they do.
