I found this picture today on Pinterest website and it caught my attention. The person who posted the picture liked the “snarky feel of it.” So I thought it would make for a great writing piece, considering that the word snarky is a fabulous word to use!

“You own everything that happened to you. Tell your stories. If people wanted you to write warmly about them, they should’ve behaved better.” – Anne Lemott

Obviously, the author of that quote is feeling a bit frustrated with “them” and does not approve of certain behaviors. How many times have you allowed people to behave this way around you? Well, here is your opportunity to vent your frustration with the world, just like the note shows. Here’s a chance for you to ‘write the wrongs’.

Share a time that you have felt wronged or treated unfairly, either by way of a situation or another person.

Remember:

Consider the reader when you write, are you expressing your thoughts completely?

To help the reader understand, show specific details in your writing.

  4. I think I know why they don”t let you bring balls from home! Its because the teachers don’t want to be responsible for the missing ball and thats my guess(:

  5. I am sad because a teacher said you can not bring a ball from home :[

  6. There have been many time, over the years, when I have been treated unfairly. Sometimes the people that have done this to me didn’t even know they were treating me poorly.

One time I was at Walmart and I had been waiting patiently in line for about 15 minutes. No kidding! It was going to be my turn in line, but I had to wait for the person in front of me to unload her cart onto the check out belt. I was getting impatient because it looked like a lot of groceries, another 5 minutes of time.

Then I heard that the check out lane next to me opened. I heard the loud words, “I’ll take the next person in line.” Great!!! That was me right? Wrong!!! Every person behind me rushed to the new check out station.

I stood in the same line and I was completely irritated!

    • I feel so bad for you 34kiwis. I think it was unfair because he or she said he would help the next person in line.If there was a grandma running to the next line I would say oh no you don’t gandma
